Be A Buddy, Not A Bully
An anti-bullying campaign of JCI Imus Wagayway which aims to reduce bullying among children. This project promotes positivity, solidarity and respect among elementary students with the hopes of removing the culture of bullying in school and among children.
Be A CEO Of Your Own Negosyo
Improving the economy by improving micro-businesses, this has been the ultimate goal of this project. With JCI Imus Wagayway's free Negosyo Seminars, the in need locals of Imus are able to start up their own micro-businesses. Free seminars include soap making, candle making, perfume making, meat processing and so much more.
DARE To Share
JCI is a catalyst of change in the community of Imus and through this initiative, JCI Imus Wagayway catalyzes change with the help of the different company partners who intended to fulfil their Corporate Social Responsibility. The organization is very much welcome to accept companies to be one in the same cause, because sharing is caring.
FilipiKnows Best
The Philippines has a very rich history and culture which should be taught to the children of today. This project helps in promoting the good Filipino practices and some significant historical events, people and places to the younger generation with the goal of preserving our national identity as Filipinos.
Fill in the GAP
JCI Imus Wagayway is a firm believer that peace is possible through education. This program provides free basic education of reading and writing to the illiterate People Deprived of Liberty (PDL) of the Imus City Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP). This long term program was able to uplift the PDL and served as a bridge for a peaceful interaction of the community and the PDL.
HandiCapable
Everyone is capable no matter how small or big or how different anyone is. Through this project, children with special needs or what JCI Imus Wagayway calls PWD or People With Determination are provided with a whole day filled with fun-filled activities which the children would truly enjoy and be encouraged that they too are capable.
My Wold Caravan
My World Caravan is a venue for all the JCI local organizations in the Philippines to collaborate in helping achieve the UN Sustainable Develpment Goals in their respective places. JCI Imus Wagayway provides assistance by sharing some resources and knowledge to have a bigger impact to the chosen community. Some recent My World Caravan runs are in Ilocos, Rizal, Laguna and the most recent, Basilan.
Protect Mt. Marami
Mt. Marami is one of the best mountains to go to in Cavite. With the rapid modernization of the whole province, there is a larger responsibility to preserve the last environmental pieces of Cavite. This is why this initiative of JCI Imus Wagayway is focused on preserving the beauty of Mt. Marami by a regular tree-planting activities and by supporting the community to take care of the mountain.
The BIG LEAP
Building Industries Gearing to Learning Enhancement Attaining Progress or The BIG LEAP is an initiative which provides free up-skill seminars to construction workers, painters and other contractual workers which would allow them to be trained properly and earn a better living.
To Love & To Nurture
Loving and nurturing are two acts of kindness JCI Imus Wagayway provides to the children of Cavite. Through this program, the children are taught proper hygiene, saving money, good manners and many more in the aim to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals. A free feeding program, story telling session and bags are provided to the children who are invited to attend the program.
Train O' Clock Series
By a series of training around the Philippines, JCI Imus Wagayway is able to share the best practices and tips on how to be a better and more impactful JCI member. This training series allows other JCI local organizations to personalize the types of training JCI Imus Wagayway would conduct on their organization which could elevate their manner of service.
Wagayway University
Wagayway University is a school for aspiring youth future leaders. This initiative provides free leadership trainings to the leaders of different high schools of Imus, Cavite. Attending the seminars of Wagayway University would help in creating leaders based on the practices and philosophy of JCI.
